 BOOKSHELF  This is by no means a complete list of the books that I have owned or read, but the ones that I have decided to keep. The rest, I have passed on to others either by donating them to charity or selling them on. In the past, I have also used libraries but I don't anymore because I have such a huge collection and also because they never seem to have the books I want in stock. I have decided for my own sanity (and to stop my home from overflowing with books) to just stick with buying new books by the authors listed here in the future and of course, Star Wars novels! The other reason for this is also because a lot of the authors I've been reading recently have been disappointing, espeacially the Urban Fantasy authors. Apart from the authors I consider to be the pioneers of the genre - Tanya Huff, Josh Wheedon (though I don't have any of his books if he's ever written any...), Kelley Armstrong, Jim Butcher, Simon R. Green, Kim Harrison and more recently, Patricia Briggs and Carrie Vaughn, a lot of writers either concentrate far, far too much on romance/sex or just seem to copy what others have done before them. Sadly, though I love the genre, I get tried of reading the same old, same old. What was once fresh and new as a genre is now wilting and faded, and I feel that I'm wasting my time and money on buying books by Urban Fantasy authors other than the ones listed here. I've also noticed that a lot of the fantasy authors I've read recently aren't as good as the more established ones and I wonder why they were published? I've split the bookshelf over two pages (may be split into more as time goes on) - the first lists general novels of all the categories that I read - the second lists the Star Wars novels that I own (and there are many!)
